“Fluent” and “Flüchtig”

The works “Fluent” and “Flüchtig” deal with the surface of water. Again, architecture plays a vital role for both serial works. The reflection of architectural fragments on the water’s surface make these works come alive. Focus is set on a narrow angle within the whole scene, which isolates the given moment from the overall context. While the series “Fluent” tells of abstract forms, structures and spaces, which seem unrestricted and expanding, the works “Flüchtig” are characterized by a rather “representational” interpretation. – Both series are to be continued.
