In my work, I feel a strong preference towards architectural photography. It is not my aim to reproduce buildings or sceneries in a manner that conforms to traditional seeing. I rather investigate into the subject’s inherent qualities of structures, light and colour, which I tend to reduce to its essentials. Colour is as much a vital part in my work as is the inclination to forms, lines, patterns and structures that give impetus to compose new spaces. What I see is always there, but not usually obvious – hidden behind the “facades” - waiting to be re-arranged for new possibilities.
